Welcome to Muddypaws Dog Ranch! We are a small kennel which breeds registered Border Collies and Australian Shepherds. We are a registered kennel which means that our facility is approved by our municipality and undergoes a yearly inspection to ensure we comply with standards that are appropriate and ethical.

We have been raising Border Collies on our farm for many years and have recently expanded our "dog pack" to include Australian Shepherds as well.  Our aim is to raise dogs that are well balanced physically and mentally and that can be comfortable as working dogs or as companions.   All of our dogs are DNA tested.  We believe that genetic testing is important as it helps to reduce the possibility of certain genetic diseases being passed on which could lead to health problems and reduced longevity.  We also do OFA hip testing to ensure that our dogs are clear of hip dysplasia and OFA eye testing to ensure that they are free from eye issues.

Our dogs enjoy their life on the farm and all that has to offer!  A typical day includes at least two walks, a swim in the pond for those who choose and socializing in the large fenced in dog yard.
